My newest works rely on dynamic lines – and in the paintings, on brilliant colour – to describe poised, elegant women, individuals creating a bright, vital environment simply by their own presence. Confident eyes, sinuous necks, grace and consciousness are combined with a overlay of strong style that I feel appropriate to our new time.

  In my work in white conte on black paper I often use a more classical style referencing the art of the past, but continuing with the same subjects and with the same direct lines.
